Dr. Hasan Davulcu (Acting CEO, Co-Founder)

Dr. Hasan Davulcu serves as CEO for USuggest.com, the cutting edge platform that is the future of online shopping. After seeing the difficulty that many e-commerce consumers were having in finding products on e-tailers sites?, Dr. Davulcu brought together a team of computer science students at Arizona State University where he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering. His goal was to develop a new kind of site that would go beyond product reviews to offer cash rewards to helpful shoppers - and so USuggest.com was born. The site officially launched in December of 2006 as the premier online comparison shopping application for consumers. USuggest.com gives bloggers and other online product experts the ability to comment and be rewarded for their product opinions and reviews.

Prior to joining the Fulton School, Dr. Davulcu served as a VP at a technology start-up. The US DOD?s Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) funded his work in industry. The intelligent agent product that he developed was the recipient of a Long Island Software Achievement Award. Dr Davulcu's research interest is in developing scalable web and data mining techniques for structuring and organizing unstructured sources, such as the web and text documents. Dr Davulcu?s research has been funded by National Science Foundation (NSF) prestigious early CAREER award, the Office of Naval Research (ONR) MURI award and US Department of Defense (DOD). Dr. Davulcu has authored or co-authored over 30 papers at major Web, database and data mining conferences and journals. He received his Ph.D. degree from University at Stony Brook, NY in 2002.
